Sample Cover Letter for resume Architecture

Sample Cover Letter for resume Architecture

Good morning,

My name is Diana and I graduated in architecture in January 2013, at the University Federico of London.

Four years ago I started to put my interest  into uncomfortable situations and I increased my implication in  disadvantaged populations. I redefined  my concept of architecture, free from the idea of "expensive so beautiful" that now exists here in Europe.

For this reason I finished my studies with a thesis on a specific neighborhood of the city of Mumbai (India), where I spent three months.

Before my graduation I worked with an Italian Architecture to cooperate on the design and construction of a school for children in the slum of Dacca Valley.

Furthermore, recently, I came back from another experience at the City of the Kolkatta. In this case we dealt with a redevelopment and re-use of land through a system of agriculture into wood cashes.

From these experiences, I learnt that I want to concentrate myself to something else. What most absorbed my energy and my attention were the relations with the local people, their lives, and the opportunity that I had to do something for them.

Working as a team project would be my greatest wish. I have so much enthusiasm, passion and I have learned, through my studies and my work experiences, to always stay in a group and to accept new and different points of view and ways of thinking.

CORE (Company Name) would represent the best possibility to realize my project.

I hope my curriculum vitae can be of any interest for you and I remain at your disposal for any further information you may need.

Thanks for your time and looking forward to hearing from you,

Regards

Diana

General Cover Letter

General Cover Letter

Greetings for the day! I was just looking at the website and reminiscing!

I just wondered if you might have any employment vacancies? I feel I have exhausted my personal and professional development within the travel industry and have a desire to do something quite a bit more worthwhile again - and  ona more long term basis this time, I thought perhaps my travel industry experience might be perhaps slightly applicable/useful in a role with you.

I feel so strongly about what you are endeavouring to achieve, and chose your projects after lengthy research, based on your goals, vision and ethics - something I would love to become a part of, if at all possible.

I have attached a copy of my CV, I would really appreciate you taking the time to look over it, and let me know your thoughts.

Many thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.

EXPLANATORY LETTER SAMPLE

EXPLANATORY LETTER SAMPLE: PLACE & ACCOMMODATION

Dear Mr Jack,

I hope you are doing fine!

I'm writing this email to let you know about your stay with us our host family.

You are going to stay in the flat that is located very near the centre of Córdoba where there are lots of facilities nearby (shops, mall centers, cinemas, restaurants, bars, discos, internet cafés, etc.)

David (1979) lives in this house on his own. He is a teacher at two secondary schools. The flat is very comfortable, with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a living room, a kitchen and a terrace.

It is located in one of the principal neighbourhoods near the centre of Cordoba city, close to the Cathedral and the expansive San Martín square.

David's parents are usually in the house. Actually, they have been living there lately.
Also, David has a cat. Please let us know if this would be a problem for you, for example if you are allergic to cats.

LOCATION:
Nueva Córdoba is a large, central neighbourhood in Córdoba city, located very close to the State university campus. Many young people live here.

The place is full of shops, pubs, gyms, spas and many other facilities. There is the Parque Sarmiento nearby. This is a large park ideal to go to for a walk and to relax amidst the green.

Many buses pass through this central neighbourhood so you will be well placed and will be able to reach many other areas in and around the city easily. Córdoba Bus Terminal is around this area as well, which makes it very simple to go travelling within the province, the country and even internationally by bus.

The city is surrounded by other towns such as Unquillo and Río Ceballos. You can easily get to these places by bus (45 mins to Unquillo) and they offer many things to do: trekking in the Sierras, polo lessons, horse riding and sun bathing by the river.

LIVING IN YOUR ACCOMMODATION:

David is very friendly and sociable and really enjoys meeting people from other countries and having them in his house.

About your room:
You will be living in a room with one bed. It has all the necessary accompaniments to make you feel comfortable after a long working day.

About the food:
David likes to cook and he will introduce you to the typical food of Argentina.

General advice about living in this accommodation :
David smokes, but he does not mind doing it outside the house.

If you wish to contact David, you can reach him at david@hotmail.com.

I hope this has helped. Let me know if you have any other queries.

Warm Regards,
Sakthi
